1lb/453g ground chicken, pork, or beef sausage
4 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
1 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove, minced
3 ½ cups shredded green cabbage
1 large carrot, shredded
4 tbsp chives, chopped
1 tsp red chili pepper flakes or red chile pepper sauce to taste
1 – Drizzle a medium pan with olive oil, add sausage, stir well and fry, breaking up any lumps, until meat thoroughly loses its raw red color and turns golden brown.
2 – Stir in soy sauce and let sizzle for some seconds.
4 – Add ginger and garlic and mix for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
