This chocolate dump cake is a rich, fudgy, one dish dessert made with just five ingredients. You dump a chocolate cake mix, pudding, milk, oil, and chocolate chips into one pan and bake, no mixer required.

Ingredients  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box chocolate pudding mix instant, dry
  • 300 ml milk 1 1/4 cups
  • 120 ml oil 1/2 cup, vegetable or sunflower
  • 200 g milk chocolate chips 1 1/4 cups

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Add the dry cake mix and dry pudding mix to the dish. Pour in the milk and oil, then stir lightly until just combined. Do not overmix.

  • Scatter the chocolate chips evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the centre is set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs, not wet batter.

  • Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes
