Grinch Dip
A fluffy green cream cheese dessert dip with powdered sugar, vanilla and Cool Whip, topped with jumbo red heart sprinkles.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened (226 g)
- 1 cup powdered sugar about 120 g
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip thawed
- neon green gel food coloring a generous amount
- jumbo heart sprinkles to top
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, Cool Whip and a generous amount of green gel color.
- Mix until well combined, and add additional green coloring, if needed.
- Add the dip to a serving bowl and top with jumbo sprinkles.
- Serve with your favorite cookies, fruit or other dippers.
Notes
Nutrition values are an estimate and do not include dippers. Use fully softened cream cheese to avoid lumps. Gel food colouring gives a bright green without thinning the dip. Add the heart sprinkles just before serving so they don't bleed. Keep refrigerated; do not leave out for more than 2 hours. Leftovers keep covered in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. Freezing is not recommended.
