This easy homemade biscuit recipe is very quick to prepare! In half an hour you’ll have some delicious, warm, soft homemade biscuits right on your table.
In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder; rub the butter into the flour with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Add milk and, to prevent the bread from getting tough, work the dough until ingredients are just blended and form a ball that does not stick to your hands.
Transfer to a floured work surface and, using a rolling pin, roll out to about 2 cm (¾ in) thickness.
Cut dough into circles about 3 cm (1¼ in) in diameter and place on the prepared baking pan, leaving space between them.
Cover biscuits with a towel and let stand for 15 minutes while you preheat the oven to 220ºC (425ºF / hot / Gas 7).
Bake for 12 minutes or so, until they are golden brown and risen.
Wait 5 minutes and serve.
