Notes

Nutrition values are an estimate per 1 ounce portion. Instead of water you can use breast milk or formula; do not use juice for babies under 12 months. Berry purees thicken as they chill, so stir before serving. Serve a portion in a separate bowl and discard any leftovers from it. Refrigerate in covered containers for 1 to 2 days or freeze in small portions for 1 to 2 months. Most soft fruits work with this method; some need the sieve and some, like banana, do not. Always follow your paediatrician's advice on starting solids.
